Mission & Outreach

Saint Andrew Christian Church responds to the needs of its community. We proudly support the following missions and are always searching for additional ways to help.


  • 2017 Christmas Basket SortingNNEMAP: Ongoing hunger relief through collections for the Near Northside Emergency Material Assistance Program (Known as NNEMAP)
  • KNITTING: Our knitting group meets weekly, knitting garments for the needy and poor. Even in the summer, winter is still coming!
  • CHURCH GARDEN: Our church maintains a garden which grows and donates hundreds of pounds of produce to local food pantries.
  • SPECIAL OFFERINGS: We support ministries within our denomination (Disciples of Christ) Supported social agencies include children's homes, homes for the elderly and those with disabilities, disaster relief / recovery, higher education, anti-racism programs, support of new churches, and retired ministers needing financial relief. 


2016 Vacation Bible School
  • CHRISTMAS BASKETS: We collect food items and assemble Christmas Baskets to provide food for needy
    familiesand gifts for children within these families.
  • BLANKET SUNDAY: Disaster relief and recovery offerings in January for Tools of Hope.
  • MISSION TRIP: Week long, out of state trips to build or rehab houses for Habitat for Humanity.
  • VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL OFFERING: Past offerings have gone to Heifer International to help end poverty and hunger in the world.
  • CROP WALK: Fund raiser for hunger relief in Franklin County and around the world.
